What I Learned While Using a Wheelchair…

After having a graft to a large ulcer on the top of my right foot, I was told I could not bear weight on that foot or I would lose it and maybe even my leg. Therefore. I was put through physical therapy and occupational therapy in order to live with not bearing weight on my right foot. I learned how to propel myself in a wheelchair around the rehab unit, in my room, and for several days at home.
