The present idea of burial, protecting the body until the final trumpet sounds, is slowly leaving our culture. Although I like the recomposition idea I’m afraid it won’t be ready for me since I’m 70. I want to be cremated and part of “me” go into a recomposted urn with a sapling so I can return as a tree. And some of my ashes should be scattered on Wearyall Hill in Glastonbury — mixing my Christian and Wiccan beliefs.
Thank you for a very necessary article.
