It’s time to give Simone Biles the title she deserves: Brave Woman of the 21st Century

Brave? Why is she “brave”? She backed out of working with her Olympic team when it could have given them Gold Medal.

Since the beginning of time, women have had to put their own needs and desires aside in order to raise (and many times support) a family, take care of elderly relatives, and/or live a life she basically didn’t want.

Ms Biles knew her feelings, was aware of her health, and realized that SHE was more important than gold medal.

From now on when a woman says “No” to something she doesn’t want to do for whatever reason, she should say, “I’m taking a Simone.”
