One of the things that helps me with my anxiety is realizing that I’m not alone in my feelings.

From an early age, I’ve felt inadequate and that just rolled over into adulthood and now my geriatric era. I’m a worrier, usually around 3 AM, and then the anxiety comes. I do a breathing exercise and realize that even with the worries, I have a good life.

That good life is what I focus on when the anxiety, encouraged by years of feeling I wasn’t good enough, overcomes reality.

I must be good enough or I wouldn’t have this good life.

Thank you for the post.
