Jonas,

As a non-religious (binding) but spiritual (Wicca) person, I appreciated this article. You said a lot of things I’d been thinking for a long time.

At 71 and as a retired RN, I’ve observed the deaths of patients, friends, and loved ones for most of my life. As I get older the thought of my death (what my family will have to do — to go through) is sometimes upper most in my mind.

Death should not be feared. I believe it is a returning of one’s body to the Mother (Earth) and one’s soul to the Universe.

And we should use this time of fun for our children to teach them that — through whatever religious or spiritual beliefs one has.

Thank you for a thoughtful post.
