I’ll be spending Christmas with dog and cats as my daughter and husband travel to stepdaughter’s — a long trip that’s difficult on my back. I’m looking forward to a couple of days alone with the critters, and the three Rs: read, rite and relax. Eggnog and fruitcake, Silence can be beautiful.
