I was an RN for 44+ years and much of that time I cared for Alzheimer’s and other dementia patients. I found that whatever a person was in their youth, they are 10X that person with dementia.

Accepting that person is the hardest thing caring for them. Most of society has advanced but they’ve forgotten that.
