At 65 I remarried and moved 50 miles away from family and friends. When I should have been making new friends in a new place, he had many health issues and this retired RN spent her time taking care of him for about 5 years. Then my health went downhill--so all the lovely things mentioned in this article, I'm now unable to do--even typing is difficult due to a rotator cuff problem that I cannot have surgery on until a wound on my foot (caused by a home care nurse) is healed.
