After writing paranormal romance (self-published) and some horror.supernatural short stories (published), I decided to stretch my writing muscles and attempt an erotic romance novella — older woman/younger man.

I was surprised when it was picked up by a small romance publisher. I proved to myself that I could do it.

Of course as a VP of Nursing at the time, I used a pen name. But I did it. I am still proud of that accomplishment. I think I made enough money for a bottle of very good wine.

We never know what our “other” niche could be unless we try.
